Terms of use Privacy policy Cookie policy Terms & conditions

1. Who we are

WorksDue (“we”, “us”) is building a mobile app for construction professionals to track project variations and retention. This policy covers this website (worksdue.com and worksdue.app) and the waitlist. When the app launches, in-app Privacy Policy and Terms will also apply to accounts and project data.

Contact: support@worksdue.com. Postal address will be published before store launch; until then use email for privacy requests.

We process personal data under UK GDPR (ICO), EU GDPR where it applies, and equivalent rules if you are in Australia, Canada, or a US state with a privacy law.

2. What this website collects

If you join the waitlist we collect:

  • Your email address
  • Limited technical data used to run the form and reduce spam: date/time, referrer (if the browser sends one), and a truncated user-agent string

We do not ask for your name, company, or phone number on this page. Cookies and similar technologies are explained in the Cookie policy. The site shows a public waitlist count (a starting figure of 100 plus each signup). Individual emails are not shown.

3. Why we use it

We use your email to send one launch notice when WorksDue is available on the App Store and Google Play (planned Q2 2027). We may also send a short factual update if that date moves. That is the purpose you agree to when you submit the form.

Lawful basis (UK/EU): consent. You can withdraw it by using the unsubscribe link in the launch email or by writing to support@worksdue.com. Withdrawal does not affect processing already completed.

Technical form data is used to operate the site and prevent abuse (legitimate interests).

4. Where it is stored

Waitlist records are stored with our database host, Supabase, and transmitted over HTTPS. Hosting region depends on the production project; a current subprocessor list is available on request at support@worksdue.com.

To send the launch email we will use an email delivery provider we appoint for that purpose only. We will not sell your address or share it for advertising.

If a processor is outside the UK/EEA we use appropriate safeguards such as adequacy regulations, the UK IDTA, or EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. How long we keep it

We keep waitlist emails until we have sent the launch notice (or you ask us to delete them), then for a short period needed to show we sent it and handle support. After that we delete or irreversibly anonymise the address unless you create an app account.

6. The forthcoming app

The app keeps a working copy of your projects on the device you are using. When you sign in, project records and photos also back up to your WorksDue account (hosted with Supabase) so they can restore if you get a new phone or reinstall. Full-quality originals stay on the device; compressed copies may sync for restore. Accounts and subscriptions will be described in the in-app policy when you sign up. We do not operate advertising trackers or third-party analytics SDKs in the current app build.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object, portability, withdraw consent, and complain to a supervisory authority (UK ICO; EU/EEA including Ireland DPC; OAIC in Australia; OPC or provincial commissioners in Canada; US state agencies where they apply).

Email support@worksdue.com for a request. We may need to verify it is you. We aim to respond within one month, or the timeline that applies where you live.

We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

8. Children

WorksDue is for adult business and professional use. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16, or the higher age required locally.

9. Changes

If this policy changes in a material way we will update this page and the version date. If you are on the waitlist and the change affects how we use your email, we will say so before we rely on the new terms.
